Hours: Part-time hours between 10:30am and 1:45pm hours to be discussed at interview
Term time only

Are you passionate about creating a positive lunchtime experience for children? Broughton Primary is looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated catering team from 5th January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for pupils
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and hygienic
• Wash up and clean kitchen equipment and utensils
• Follow health and safety guidelines and food hygiene standards
• Support the cook and other team members with daily tasks

What We’re Looking For:
• A positive attitude and a strong team ethic
• Good communication skills and a friendly manner with children
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – training will be provided
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
