Desired outcomes from engaging with the language of learning framework:-

- Bring consistency of excellence across all our settings.

- Ensure we have the foundations in language in place.  

- Enable practitioners to focus in and evaluate what language children are using, so that they can better support and extend expressive language and understanding further.

- Strengthen how well we use books in EYFS to support language development and provision.  

- Enable practitioners to think more carefully and deeply about how we construct questions.

- Strengthen practitioners using the Shrec Approach in that final step of the back-and-forth of ‘conversation’.
