We are currently seeking excellent individuals who can offer their time and expertise to sit on our Board of Trustees.


We are a large Multi Academy Trust working across the North of England. Formed in 2012, and educating approximately 10,000 children between the ages of 2-11, our family of 32 primary academies share a dedication and commitment to high quality,  inclusive education. We work hard to create inspiring places for children where they feel safe and nurtured and we recognise that the outcomes we generate can transform pupils’ future choices and opportunities.


The key challenges for our Trustees include (but are not limited to):

  • strengthening children's achievements
  • reinforcing good governance through the appointment of additional Trustees
  • ensuring effective succession planning for strong governance
  • ensuring that the Trust's growth strategy is achieved

Your commitment

  • Trusteeship is a voluntary unpaid role for people who have the energy and skills to make a real contribution to shaping the future of our academies.
  • You do not need to have any specialist knowledge of education.
  • The time commitment is 7 meetings per year, plus participation in the Trust Cycle of Activity (which includes academy enquiries, CPD and development sessions).
  • Full Trustee meetings take place at our Wakefield Office and last approximately 2 hours and all committee meetings take place via Microsoft Teams.
