Eastfield Primary is a friendly 1 form entry Primary School which includes our own nursery for children from 3 years of age. We are incredibly proud of our well-resourced site, which serves our local community.
About the role
We require a site cleaner to work within our premises team, to commence work as soon as possible. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Duties will include cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and shared areas, as well as ensuring cleaning supplies are used and stored safely. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the school and creating a welcoming environment for learning. We would ask that applicants are team players and have a good understanding of the role of a site cleaner within a school setting.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Is dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Has good attention to detail
- Is able to follow health and safety procedures
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Has previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided)
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential.
