Elliston Primary Academy is seeking to recruit a seeking to recruit a self-motivated, reliable, proactive and organised person to join our amazing catering team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to become part of the admin team at Elliston Primary Academy.

Contract/Hours: 15 hours per week, permanent, term time only
Salary Details: NJC SCP 2
We need a practical, enthusiastic and conscientious person to support the catering team and maintain the efficient running of the school kitchen.
The duties will include:
• Service of meals to staff and pupils.
• Clearing and cleaning of dining facilities.
• Cleaning of all food service areas, including equipment, to meet agreed standards.
• Washing of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
• Preparation and production of food items i.e. sandwiches, vegetables, salads and desserts
• Assisting Cook with food preparation and production as and when required
• Receipt and safe storage of deliveries.
• Ensure effective waste management
• Preparation, delivery and service of hospitality as and when required.
• Maintaining the general tidiness and organisation of food service areas.
• Observing and enforcing all food hygiene policies, procedures and documentation

Previous catering experience is desirable but is not essential, as full training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
