About the role
We are looking for someone to join our team who can support children with additional needs across the 4 areas of need. In addition to our extensive learning resources, we recognise the positive impact our outdoor environment, school farm and forest school have on our children’s emotional wellbeing. We are committed to ensuring all children have the opportunity to engage in quality first hand provision both within and outside the curriculum.
What we are looking for
- An excellent role model, who can inspire our children to achieve their full potential
- A willingness to contribute to, collaborate and be an active member of our SEND team
- An understanding of SEMH in children and an awareness of strategies to overcome barriers in this area
- An understanding of structured outdoor play activities and the ability to lead these for targeted individuals
- Support in planning and delivering interventions for targeted children
- Experience of taking learning outdoors
- Someone who has well-being at the heart of all they do
- Good knowledge of National Curriculum expectations.
