The Enquire Learning Trust is delighted to welcome Geir back for this exclusive leadership event.
Following a highly successful session last year, Geir returns to further explore the vital role organisational culture plays in creating thriving schools and organisations.
School leaders today balance the demands of leading people, managing change and building strong relationships with families and communities, all whilst maintaining a relentless focus on improving outcomes for children and
young people. Alongside these responsibilities come increasing expectations from external agencies and stakeholders, as well as the day-to-day challenges that make leadership both demanding and rewarding.
WHAT TO EXPECT...
Geir will be building on his best-selling book, ‘Pressure: Lessons from the psychology of the penalty shootout’ and his recent work with the European Ryder Cup team to consider the things we can do to stay sane and keep our focus!
We look forward to you joining us for some fascinating insights and practical ideas that will help us to lead under pressure…
Professor Geir Jordet, author of the new book Pressure:
Lessons from the psychology of the penalty shootout is described by The Times as “The World leading expert on the psychology of penalties”.
Geir Jordet holds a PhD. in soccer and psychology and teaches and conducts research on psychology and elite performance at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. This institution is currently ranked #3 in the world on sport science research, among 300 leading sport science universities/departments.
