Level 3 Teaching Assistant
35.5 hours per week TTO + 5 days
NJC SCP 15-17 (depending on experience)
Actual salary - £24,113 - £25,500
We are looking to appoint a passionate, highly motivated and highly skilled Level 3 Teaching Assistant, who will work under the guidance of the class teacher but can use their own initiative to ensure that children have access to appropriate activities to support their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development. The successful candidate is also expected to interact with and lead colleagues on a professional level in order to promote a mutual understanding of the schools vision and values.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
- Is patient, calm and has a good sense of humour
- Demonstrate high expectations of positive behaviour for learning
- Has some experience of working with UKS2 aged children
- Has a sound knowledge of early childhood development
- Will be committed to the role, our values and our school team.
